I want to grow some herbs indoors and there are so many. I’m just having problems finding healing ones that can be grown in pots.
Thanks!

All herbs can be grown in pots, providing they have proper soil and plenty of sun.
At a large book store, buy a
    copy of “The Green Pharmacy”
    by Dr. James A. Duke.
It has invaluable knowledge on medicinal plants. Amazon should have a low cost copy.

Aloe Vera is probably the most common healing herb grown in pots. No home should be without it.

  3. Almost any plant can grow in a pot if it has the proper amount of room for its roots, good nutrition, correct light & moisture.

You can grow Calendula in a large pot on a porch or patio. Most cooking herbs are also used medicinally and can be grown indoors in good light. Feverfew is easy to grow and doesn’t take much room. Horehound, Catnip & all the Mints like pots and will tolerate quite a bit of shade. Rosemary works well in a pot. Comfrey thrives in a big pot. Grow Aloe in a pot and divide it every year or two for an unlimited supply. Hyssop is pretty easy.

Here’s a list of herbs that do well in shade, so might be ones you’d like to try indoors:

One of the problems you might encounter if the soil stays too wet is fungus gnats. Watering with chamomile tea can prevent them. If you do get them, mix a teaspoon of ammonia with a drop of lemon oil in about 2 ounces of water and spray the leaves & soil.
