Natural health is an eclectic self-care system of natural therapies that builds and restores health and wellness by working with the natural recuperative powers of the human body.

Natural health is a totally reasonable and respectable approach to health care. It refers to the beliefs, concepts, and attitudes held by those who practice natural health care. There are similarities that run throughout all natural health practices

Natural health has nothing to say about the creation of life, beliefs in religion, and other worlds or dimensions other than that all health, wellness, illness, and healing can be positively affected by simple and inexpensive natural therapies.

Nothing about natural health prevents its alternative healing methods from being used alongside conventional medical treatment. Thus, natural health can be viewed as a complementary or adjunctive form of therapy.

The wellness movement champions a number of natural health concepts. Everyone is responsible for their own health. Stress reduction is usually a major focus of the wellness community. Wellness programs offer holistic medicine techniques to improve your natural health.

Natural health care treatment also refers to

• Men, women and child health,

• Weight loss program,

• Maintaining a healthy mind and soul,

• Different types of therapies

• Exercises such as yoga and other forms of physical activity that helps our body,

• Holistic medicine,

• Nutritional supplements and

• Herbal medicine.

Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar takes yoga lessons from yoga instructor Sukhdev Kumar, partly seen, during a training session at a conditioning camp prior to Bangladesh tour, in Calcutta Eden Garden. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar may not be getting his yoga postures exactly right and could be risking his back that has caused him problems earlier in his career, a report appearing in a news channel, which pointed out that Sachin was performing the yoga rrectly and it will be very harmful for him. Delhi Based Yoga Guru Suneel Singh was shown television footage of the yoga in was doing.

According to Yoga Guru Suneel Singh, the ‘asanas’ that the cricketer was attempting the Purnotitli( full butterfly), Paschimottan (forward bending), Monibandha chakra (wrist rotating) Monibandha naman (wrist bending) and Mustikabandha (fist-clenching) asanas but was not getting them quiet right. Especially the Paschimottan asana is not advisable to Sachin, as he is suffering from back pain. And one should not force the practitioner to do difficult asanas as the flexibility of the body varies from person to person. Yoga guru Suneel Singh advised and also performed some asanas like Subtle Kriyaswhich are known as sookshma kriyas and Shalvasana which is popularly known as Locust Posture on that particular news channel which are very much beneficial for Sachin.

After the Yoga Session Sachin said, ‘I would recommend Yoga to every one’ and he is extending his sessions beyond the required time.

Yoga guru Suneel Singh is a multifaceted personality and has been conducting workshops for corporate-house, various leading modeling institutes, five star hotels, MNCs and Bureaucrats. He has taught various film stars the skills of yoga to maintain a healthy life and fit body. His yoga teachings are also being telecast by channels like Zee News, D.D. National, Channel-7, Sahara National, Sahara NCR, Star News, S1 and Total T.V. And because of this wide reach several people have been able to avail the benefits of yoga simply being at home. Apart of performing yoga on television, he also has flair to write. His articles have been published in various magazines like Swagat, Asia-spa, outlook Eternal solution, Arogya Sanjivini, Gati Rang, Grehlakshmi, Vivaha etc and newspapers like Times of India, Hindustan, Amar Ujala, Rashtriya Sahara and MidDay. Recently Yoga Guru has made another attempt to make the yoga available for every one just a mouse click away, by uploading some of his TV footages and short capsules of different asanas on Google. One can just type the disease name along with yoga in Google search and find the remedy. (e.g. yoga for back pain etc.)

She is a 5 month old female German Shepherd and she is battling painful chronic Urinary Tract Infections. She is on vet-prescribed antibiotics, and special food. I have been praying/meditating on her healing. A little extra help would be nice. Does anyone know of a metaphysical helper? This condition is financially destructive to my husband and I, so inexpensive solutions are preferred. Also, her sister (who lived with friends of ours) became septic and died from an unknown infection in her organs; we are terrified that there could be some genetic, anatomical problem. Help?
Hey SkepDoc, you jerk– I didn’t ask your opinion on my beliefs. The dog is getting the neccessary medical treatments and thus far the so-called experts have been ZERO help other than depleting my already over-extended pocketbook and putting her on a “prescription” dog food that makes her puke and sh*t all over my house. So thanks for making me feel better by suggesting intentionally killing my dog. Maybe when your kids get sick you should consider “putting them out of their misery”. Forgive for having hope. Gotta go now; its time to euthenize my dog because no one has the answers.
James,

Thanks for the food suggestion. I’ll research it.

Light therapy has been used for a number of years to get round the loss of light in winter.1 man out of 10 and 1 woman out of 5 suffer from winter blues and in certain cases seasonal depression called SAD Seasonal Affective Disorder.

We are coming up to the shortest days of the year, a period where there are the most cases of seasonal depression, winter blues, which is tiredness in the morning, lack of dynamism, becoming irritable, gloomy humour, sleeping trouble, a lack of libido.  These symptoms are due to a loss of sleep, which can easily be beaten thanks to the use of light therapy lamps.  All you have to do is be exposed infront of a lamp that reproduces natural sun light (about 2500 and 10000 lux), preferably in the morning, for about half an hour.  You will find all your energy as if you were in August.

To find out more on light therapy, its medical basics and to find a light therapy lamp or light therapy glasses LUMINETTE which have been agreed by the EU medical board go to :
